Prayer
Challenge Resources |
|
Dear Pastors
and Prayer Leaders,
I want to
challenge you to commit to a year of prayer.
What would happen if churches from all
denominations and locations spent a year
with prayer front and center? More than we
can ask or even imagine!
You don’t have
to preach every sermon on prayer. Just make
prayer the framework into which everything
else fits. Have prayer adventures! Do prayer
experiments!
Among the
resources we have put together are several
that you can use during Wednesday evening
services. In talking to hundreds of pastors,
I have heard it over and over: “I don’t know
how to move Wednesday evening from being
Bible study to being prayer!” I think we can
help!
I long to see
the church become the prayer force God means
it to be. How about you?
In Christ,
Jennifer

He
Restores My Soul and He Leads Me
Beside Still Waters are each 40-day
devotional, interactive books. Read
about the content of each on the
catalog page. Each ends with
suggestions for an optional one-day
personal retreat. Many churches use
these books to start the year, or
during the 40 days of Lent. Any time
during the year that your church or
any group in your church wants to
focus their hearts intensively on
prayer, either of these two books
would be an excellent tool. Some
churches combine the 40-day
experience with a partial fast.

fasting.
